Building Portraits
Building portraits are drawings and sketches made as a record of existing buildings, perhaps prior to significant alteration or demolition. These drawings are produced on site, and the usual emphasis is in drawing out the character of the building. Conversation with client can draw out what aspects of the building are of particular personal importance.

Drawings have also been made of favourite views, wedding venues, and other places of local interest. Building portraits are also frequently commissioned for use within marketing literature, where the business premises are a point of difference worthy of emphasis.
